I just tried this recipe and it's wonderfully moist and delicious! I love it that is completely wholegrain and yet so moist and dense. I did a little tweaking with cutting out the sugar and substituting 2 tbsp of brown rice syrup, plus juice of 1/2 orange and cutting down to 1 cup milk.
ReplyDeleteMy kids will love this when they get to try it for their breakfast. This recipe is definitely on my bookmark list

ReplyDeleteI am pleased that you loved this cake. Very clever of you to substitute with brown rice syrup. By the way, I haven't heard of brown rice syrup. What is it?
